The Sector Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality sector, thematic, and company-level research to support investment decision-making across the portfolio. The role plays a critical part in identifying attractive investment opportunities and supporting deal execution and portfolio monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Investment Research & Strategy

• Conduct in-depth sector, market, and company research to identify attractive investment themes and potential opportunities.
• Build, maintain, and update financial models for pipeline opportunities and existing portfolio companies.
• Analyze business models, competitive dynamics, industry structure, and financial performance within assigned sectors.
• Support investment thesis development, valuation analysis, and risk assessment.

2. Investment Process & Execution Support

• Prepare investment memos, research reports, and presentation materials for internal investment committees.
• Assist in due diligence processes, including commercial, financial, and strategic assessments.
• Track sector trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes relevant to investments.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Actively participate in investment discussions and cross-functional deal teams.
• Represent the investment process in interactions with internal stakeholders, advisors, and external partners.
• Contribute to materials for internal and external publications, where appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA or equivalent is a plus.
• Two – five years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Equity Research.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
