Trung is Investment Director at VinaCapital, where he manages VinaCapital Vietnam Access Fund (VAF) and foreign segregated mandates.

Trung has over 15 years of research and investment experience in Vietnam and Singapore. Prior to joining VinaCapital, Trung was Director of Portfolio Management with FengHe Asia, a Singapore-based AxJ long/short hedge fund and Deputy Head of Research (Vietnam) at Maybank Investment Bank. His investment experience includes Vietnam (all sectors), Thailand (all sectors), and ASEAN/Hong Kong/Korea (mainly banks and real estate).

Trung graduated from Singapore Management University with a BSc in Economics, completing the Economics Honours Program with a Senior Thesis on Asian Currency Exchange and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) charterholder.
