Mr. Derek H.T. Wong, CFA, is the Head of Internal Audit at VinaCapital Group. Reporting directly to the Group Audit Committee, he helps VinaCapital achieve its objectives by applying a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and strengthening the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.

Derek brings over 15 years of experience in financial services, having previously worked at EY in London and Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. He also has experience in the fintech sector and has served as an advisor for an NGO, contributing his expertise in governance and strategic oversight to VinaCapital’s diverse operations.

Derek holds a Master of Civil Engineering from Imperial College London.
