Project Manager

Main duties:

  • Organize & manage timeline: Coordinate with departments to establish the projects master timeline and manage to achieve it, from start to end of the project including legal submittal, design drawings preparation for design phases, tendering and tender award, construction and handover of the project
  • Manage & allocate manpower for projects: Manage, assign and monitor the project’s manpower in a proper way to achieve the project objectives as instructed by Project Director
  • Implement the projects as per the approved master timeline: Detail the master plan into detailed plan with specific objectives and timeline to follow
    • Design management:
      • Participate in reviewing design and propose alternative design solutions during pre-construction and construction phase
      • Supervise and speed up the progress of releasing the construction drawings on time
      • Monitor the changes of design and manage incurred expenses
      • Approve the proposal, solution when there is change in design during the construction period (if there is no cost incurred or affect to the construction quality and timeline)
      • Immediate report when the design consultant does not guarantee for design document nor provide the document to department of design on time
      • Manage Consultants, Contractors in compliance with signed contracts and current regulations and laws on construction, acceptance, handover of work components and the whole project. Manage payment to Consultants and Contractor
    • Organize & manage budget:
      • Coordinate with QS Department to prepare/review the project budget and submit to Project Director for approval
      • Manage to implement and complete the project within the approved budget
      • Coordinate with QS Department to prepare tender strategy/tender packages
      • Advise Project Director in decision making of consultants/contractors/suppliers selection and variations in accordance with the approved budget
      • Periodic report to Project Director on project cost update
    • Construction management:
      • Manage outsourced PM/CM consultants
      • Coordinate with PM/CM consultant to manage and control all construction activities by contractors at site
      • QA/QC management of construction activities.
      • Monitor project work progress
      • Coordinate with QS for cost control including progress payments, change requests, VOs verifications, to ensure construction costs within the approved budget.
      • Coordinate with relevant consultants and contractors to ensure HSE activities comply with the approved standards.
      • Coordinate with respective consultants and contractors for project document control including project legal documents, QA/QC documentation, necessary project correspondences, project completion documents and the like.
      • Attend and witness Testing and Commissioning process. Provide support to for project completion inspection including Fire Fighting inspection, MOC/DOC inspections, and other deems to be necessary for project completion and operation.
  • Hand over the property to the Operator
  • Report: Periodical or ad-hoc report to Project Director during the project implementation regarding design issues, construction progress and quality, cost, labor safety, payment for prompt instruction if needed


  • University Degree in Architect or Civil Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in hospitality projects as a Project Manager position
  • Fluent in reading, writing, listening and speaking in English
  • Strong work ethic, good moral characters and professional demeanor
  • Native Vietnamese speaker
  • Frequent travel on short notice will be required at times.
