HR Assistant, Compensation and Benefits

Main duties:

  1. Payroll
  • Check and update monthly data such as sales commission, taxi over the limit expense, salary adjustment, unpaid leave, maternity leave, one-off payment & other salary-related data on the HRM system
  • Calculate and complete monthly payroll spreadsheet, cost allocation, and bank remittance (parallel check between excel files and HRMS)
  • Check and release payslip on the HRM system
  1. Compulsory insurance (SHUI)
  • Prepare SHUI reports which reflect the increase/decrease of the month
  • Claim SHUI benefits for staff (if any)
  • Follow up to get authorized signatures and send the SHUI payment requests to the Finance team
  • Reconcile the detailed SHUI contribution spreadsheets with the results from SI Department
  1. Personal income tax (PIT)
  • Do monthly/ quarterly PIT reports and PIT Invoice reports
  • Tax code/dependent registration
  • Do annual PIT finalization for the company and the individual
  1. HRM system (HRMS)
  • Update employment data as internal transfer, salary review, promotion, contract renewal, PIT dependant, and cost allocation on the HRMS
  • Maintain and update employee carried over leave balance in December of each year and update the holiday calendar in the HRMS
  • Answer queries related to employee’s annual leave (if any)
  • Follow up, handle time allocation process in the HRMS
  1. Termination process
  • Final settlement calculation
  • Update resignation on the HRMS
  • Follow up to receive signed required documents according to exit procedure
  • Upload final settlement bank transfer in the bank system and follow up until payment is processed by the bank

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum two years of working compensation and benefits activities.
  • Detail-oriented, logical and good communication
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite especially the use of skills in Excel spreadsheets
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the HRM
  • Skills and ability to constantly update, practice, and apply laws to avoid being wrong
